Kayaking is already a water sport so we will often adventure on. Oh the stories you’ll have to share!

But if the weather is dangerous (thunderstorms) and just generally miserable conditions for kayaking (windy + rainy + cool), we will contact you so we can reschedule your adventure or offer you a refund. We understand that you signed up for a generally pleasant experience, not a hardcore adventure!

Generally, 3 year olds on up are welcome on our adventures, though Speedwell Forge Lake and the Conejohela Flats, and the Conestoga River are best suited for the youngest adventurers to either paddle or ride along. Please contact us if you have specific questions regarding your group.

Yes! We think one of your adventure highlights will be watching your child’s joy as they develop confidence and independence on the water. Now small arms do get tired. For that we have tow systems available, making it easy to give them a rest without having to forego the rest of the adventure. Here is a more in-depth look at our philosophy on kayaking with kids.

Our kayaks are recreational kayaks which means they are designed for stability and comfort for the average adventurer. In other words, they would take some coaxing to tip.

We have found that the most “delicate” moments typically come when getting in and out of the boat, not while actually kayaking. And we will be there at the beginning and end of your adventure to provide any assistance and instruction needed.

Our rates are calculated per kayak.

Child kayak - $35* (Flipper, Prodigy, Otter, Conduit)

Adult kayak - $50* (Aspire, Pungo)

Ride-along child - $0

Our regular reservations (full price) offer you your choice of location. In contrast, Special Offers (discounted reservations) are for a specific date, time, and place. Tipping is not expected. We want you to enjoy your experience wholly without haven’t to give any thought or energy to when/how/how much to tip.

We love to accommodate all different size groups. Currently, online reservations are limited to 10 kayaks per reservation. If you would like to book more than 10 kayaks, let us customize an experience for your group. The easiest place to start is by using our Group Inquiry Form to tell us about what you have in mind.

We do! Book 8 or more adult kayaks and receive $5 off each adult kayak.

We have a two-kayak minimum for each regular reservation. If you are looking to solo kayak, some of our Special Offers do not have a booking minimum.

Yes. Like any outdoor recreational activity, there is risk involved and all participants must sign our waiver/release from liability form. A parent or legal guardian must sign for any minor. A link to fill out your waiver electronically will be emailed to you once you have booked your reservation.

We use some photos for promotional purposes so a photo release clause is included in the required liability waiver. If you would prefer not to sign a photo release, please contact us for a release of liability waiver without that clause.

Yes. If you are up for the extra challenge of kayak fishing, then go for it! We recommend you request the Pungo 120 for this type of adventure. Bring your own equipment, and if you are over 16 years old, you will need to obtain a PA fishing license.

Cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled adventure are eligible for a full refund minus booking and processing fee (approx. 8.5%). Reservations may be canceled or changed within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled date for a gift certificate for the full amount. Same-day cancellations will receive a 25% refund in the form of a gift certificate. No refund will be issued for no-shows. Please contact us by phone or text if you need to reschedule or cancel.
