MARIETTA TO COLUMBIA, PA

This history-rich Susquehanna watertrail will be best enjoyed by those with some previous kayaking experience. The gorgeous 2.5 mile journey is mostly calm but does have several mild rapids where the river’s rocky path provides a fun challenge for the adventurous kayaker. Paddle past Chiques Creek, observe the impressive Chickies Rock, play around the pre-Civil War stone piers from former Columbia-Wrightsville bridges, and then enjoy the architectural beauty of the current Veteran’s Memorial Bridge. 

This route begins and ends at different points on the Susquehanna River. We will meet you at the end location where you will leave your vehicle and then be transported to the launch access to begin your adventure.
