Conestoga River Watertrail

~2 hrs (transport + orientation + kayaking)

CONESTOGA, PA

SELF-GUIDED ADVENTURE

It is best to book this route early in the season (May & June) as low water levels sometimes require the route to be closed later on.

This lovely waterway begins right before the nearly century-old Rock Hill Bridge with its open steel lattice deck and ends at Safe Harbor just before the Conestoga empties into the Susquehanna. At 3.5 miles, this is a great first-experience-on-moving-water as the current gently carries the kayak along so that even young adventurers can cover the distance while paddling at an enjoyable pace.

This route begins and ends at different points on the river. We will meet you at the end location where you will leave your vehicle and then be transported to the the launch access to begin your adventure.
